Luke was the most caring and lovable fur-friend I could have asked for in my life.  Luke was and will always be a special to me. He was my first dog at age 20 and my companion since moving to the U.S. I met him when he was just 8 weeks old and it was love at first sight.  He was by my side for the good and the bad times. Every milestone in my adult life has been shared with Luke.  This is by far the hardest loss I have ever felt – and I am sure it will hurt for a lot longer. Luke was my best friend and I am so blessed to have been able to share these years with him. I am lucky to have many memories of him from the 12.5 years we spent together.
