Meet Curly.
Curly is a beautiful Wheaten Terrier with soft, fluffy fur and a super sweet personality to match. After a few moments with him, I could just tell he is a perfect companion for just simply enjoying the days together. This little guy was as relaxed as could be while I was there but never more than a few feet away from his mom. We had a great time chatting it up while I learned about Curly and how he has very specific spots that are “his”. Here is Curly, under the dining room chair. He often lays here while Mom enjoys a meal, always hopeful that a few morsels will make their way down to him. Not only is he nearby, Curly has decided to be a mindful watchdog as well and positions himself so he faces the front door to watch for any visitors.
When dinner time is over, Curly and Mom make their way to their favorite spot in the living room. Curly takes a minute to walk in a circle or two before laying down at Mom’s feet while she tends to activities in her favorite chair. Curly knows this is the optimal spot for a snooze as he is close to Mom but never misses an opportunity to sit up and enjoy a few head scratches. I know Curly and Mom have shared many hours together like this, at ease, reveling in each other’s company.
When Mom and Curly aren’t snuggled up in front of the TV together in the chair or on the couch, they like to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather together lounging by the pool or finding a cool spot in the shade to relax. Not too many moments pass before another head pat or belly rub are appreciated by this loving pup.
Curly the Wheaten Terrier is a faithful, loyal, loving companion to his Mom and I am so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to spend an afternoon with the two of them. They are a perfect pair.
